Innovation of the year: Services
Bear in mind that this entry is the main way to convince judges, who will not know the detail as intimately as you do, so it is important to set out a structured ‘pitch’, with evidence to back up any claims. The two main criticisms in judges’ feedback from past awards is ‘Did not provide enough a strong enough argument as to why they should win’ and ‘No data or evidence to back up claims.’
Our innovation categories seek to throw the spotlight on new ideas across the energy sector.
Entries in this category aim to recognise the contribution of services from the industry – those innovations which come from a process, advice, analysis or other human input. Remember, you have to convince the judges how it is innovative. Entrants will need to explain how the innovation came about, what the implications are and show evidence of the differences it has made.
