Supplier of the Year
Bear in mind that this entry is the main way to convince judges, who will not know the detail as intimately as you do, so it is important to set out a structured ‘pitch’, with evidence to back up any claims. The two main criticisms in judges’ feedback from past awards is ‘Did not provide enough a strong enough argument as to why they should win’ and ‘No data or evidence to back up claims.’
With energy supply attracting so much publicity in the popular press and the market so competitive, the Energy Awards judges are keen to sort out the myths from the reality, to delve beneath the hype and the headlines and to recognise the supplier that provides the best all-round service to business customers.
Suppliers should therefore provide evidence of service, effectiveness, investment and innovation for their customers large and small, backed with data, testimonial and case study where appropriate.
